I've just (finally) gotten around to installing XBMC and Boxee on my Apple TV v2.3. I love it, but my question is how do I turn off auto updates (which Im assuming would erase everything) if I do not have a MAC. It looks like it would have to be done in SSH from a MAC. Please tell me if I am missing something. I would love to keep this functionality.

Thanks for any help

If you get NitoTV or SoftwareMenu installed, you can disable it there. It does not delete any data; it simply adds a host entry for mesu.apple.com to point to 127.0.0.1.

thanks guys. I havent been online for a little bit, but that worked. I appreciate your help
