I will be heading to Greece soon and would like to use a plan from there. I have read online that disabling all international service from AT&T’s end should make it so the phone does not get cellular service at all through the AT&T plan. This should allow the AT&T plan to send and receive calls and texts using the data portion of the Greek plan. However, this person on Reddit says they did just that but their AT&T plan still connects to Greek cell towers anyway: https://www.reddit.com/r/ATT/comments/w84036
Has anyone here been able to successfully disable international roaming on AT&T’s end and get this to work in Greece?
