I have searched the forum and read what little manual there is....But is it possible to manually shut off and turn on your voice mail option in the iPhone?

With the keypad, key in #004# and tap "Call".
This will disable voicemail on the iPhone.

Thank you

And what enables it? I am going away for the day and the work cell phone (Cricket) only does the metropolitan area. I am going to forward that phone to my iPhone. I just want people to be able to leave messages (personal reasons)

To enable to voice mail, I would think to do the same and then "call"...but this is just an assumption
