Hey all,

I've got tethering working great via the hack that's been reported here and other places. It's now working via BT and USB.

My question is, I do not need to tether when plugging my iPhone into my iMac yet when I plug in to sync the phone goes blue and into tethering mode.

How does one disable needing to tether on the Mac?

Thanks

To disable Tethering when not in use simply navigate on your iPhone to Settings>General>Network>Internet Tethering>Off. I think that's what you're asking, right?:)

Well I had thought of that but had just been leaving it on by default. Guess I was just over thinking it. <G>

Thanks
David

I would also, after turning tethering off, turn it back on just to make sure it still works. It should be fine, but you don't want to find out tethering has stopped working at an inopportune time:)
