Got a MBA couple of days ago of ebay - risky i kno
then i had to wait two days to get my charger, but at dinner time today i got started everything was fine,
was on messenger, listening to music, browsing social networking sites, nothing out of the norm. come 6pm MBA froze so i turned it off using the power button.
i tried putting it on and all i got was a blank screen
turned it off again and next time it got to the apple logo screen then shut off.

this is all that happens now
ive tried doing the PRAM thing and everything else iv saw suggested on forums and apple etc

my first apple experience and its disapointing. anyone help?

so gutted.

thanks

ditto bring it in, it's possible that it's just a permissions problem, if you've got an external super drive or can share a disc, try booting to the CD and repairing permissions or run Disk Warrior if you've got a copy, but I'll assume you don't.

Bring it to the genius at the Apple store and they can help there. The MacBook should still be under warranty. Good luck!!
