If I use my trackpad, the cursor behaves as it should, sending the arrow around the screen like it should.

If I then stop using the trackpad, and us the arrow keys to scroll up or down the page the arrow disappears - this is normal.

But the problem is......

WHen I go back to the trackpad to move the cursor again, I have to move my finger around the pad for a while ( 3 - 4 seconds ) before the cursor arrow reapears.

This delay is getting REALLY annoying!!!

Any ideas?

There have been other thread about this happening.

If you are sure that the trackpad is clean, then try changing the trackpad settings in the Preferences pane.

It could be the tracking speed that makes it take more time to recognize the movement of the cursor.
