iPhone Disappearing (Sometimes) Contacts on iOS 13.5.1

I added a contact to my Contacts list this morning. It shows up if I access the Contacts list by tapping the Contacts icon on the Home screen, but if I access the list by tapping the small Contacts icon at the bottom of the Phone keypad screen, the new contact is missing. Should I reboot the phone? TIA.

Rebooting can often help with various issues.

Rebooting cleared things up. I guess I should have tried that as soon as the problem appeared.
