I am a big iPad fan and was looking forward to this week's updates but I came away disappointed. Personally, the $799 11 inch iPad Pro was the sweet spot for me. I can justify the extra $200 over the Air because I wanted Face ID, the better screen, and quad speakers. I will never need 256GB of storage on an iPad, so 128GB was perfect for my needs.
Apple eliminating the $799 11 inch Pro and raising its price to $999 essentially prices me out and I will now have to look at the Air for any future upgrades - which is a downgrade. I really feel Apple should have at a minimum added Face ID and a 120Hz screen to the Air for people who liked that previous generation 128GB Pro. Just my two cents.
