Disappointing i7 performance on Battlefield 2

I've seen a few threads which mention poor/disappointing performance with this game with the new i5/i7 MBP.

Most of these people seem to be running at high settings. Im not intrested in high settings and pretty graphics, i want nice smooth 60fps for playability, this is what gamers should be interested in.

Would someone be kind enough to try this game on lowest settings and report back what kind of FPS they get? would also me quite interested in temps if possible.

Poor performance in BC2 is to be expected with these machines; the video card just doesn't cut it.

Bad Company 2 is one of the most demanding games for a gpu, right up there with Dirt2 and Crysis.

Notebook check already offers FPS estimations for the 330m at lowest settings (click on the 52 number to see that they used a new macbook pro for the test):

I run it at medium on my desktop PC, it still looks spectacular.

I'd have hoped the MBP could run it at medium competently..
