Doing a trip to SF at the end of the month. Did some down loads of podcasts for my trip to take with me on my iPhone. Not compatible for the iPhone I was told by iTunes. These were podcasts from museums and such in the SF area...

A bit disppointed...

I just got my iPhone tonight and couldn't sync diggnation for some reason. Not a big deal since it seems to sync the rest of them. It still makes me wonder, though.

You do know, don't you, that you need to go to "Advanced" and then click on "Convert for iPod." This is necessary even if you've already got a video that you've been able to play in your regular video iPod. You will then have two versions: one which plays in the iPod and one which plays on the iPhone. Be sure to mark the right one for synchronization and you'll be good to go!

I've been trying to figure out why the large h264 versions of dl.tv, Cranky Geeks, and some of the Revision 3 video podcasts do not work. They seem to be well within the video specs released by Apple. Hopefully something gets figured out soon; I hate having to download both the large h264 and ipod versions (for AppleTV+iPhone).
