I've been looking for a guide on how to disassemble my Early 2008 Mac Pro, yet I can not find anything. Does anyone know where I could find one because I am trying to add another sata hard drive but the plastic casing is in the way.

There was a link to the Mac Pro service manual in this very forum.

I can't find the relevant thread now. Maybe it was deleted?

That's because the distribution of that manual is against Apple's NDA (from what another user said). The thread was short-lived, the link was gone, I was happy to have found it and downloaded the manual before it was yanked. ;)

Awesome

Great link, I figured out how to get most parts out just by taking out screws :p

These manuals are a great resource :D

Yes. See manual.

Sometimes not all the steps are necessary, iFixit often times shows extra steps for certain procedures (ie; MacBook Pro screen swap, they make u remove the entire logicboard but all you need to do is remove the cable guide, bluetooth/wifi antenna, display connector and then unscrew the hinges).

It doesnt look like the heat sinks are obstructing anything.
