I'm wondering if there is a programatic way (AppleScript or terminal command, etc) to disconnect my eGPU box. Whenever my Mac goes to sleep then when I wake it I get the "you didn't disconnect your GPU before unplugging it" error (that is not the exact message) and I would like to fire something off when my system goes to sleep that it will essentially do that.

Right now my only recourse would be to use a mouse control macro via AppleScript to manually click the eject button but I don't want to have to use something as iffy as a mouse control if there is an actual command I can run to do this.
