Apple has sent me a message on my phone suggesting I should upgrade to Apple One - which I'm thinking about doing as the monthly cost wouldn't be much more than I'm already paying for Apple Music etc. Just started paying for Apple TV after my last free year ran out from what came with my iPhone.

The thing is, I have a new MacBook Air on the way (BTO model, be another couple of weeks) which I assume will qualify me for a year of free Apple TV.

Does anyone know, if I sign up to Apple One, will I get some sort of equivalent discount on that when the MacBook arrives? If not, I'm thinking I'd be better off keeping them separate and getting Apple TV free for a year and paying the music subs separately, saving about £60 GBP or thereabouts for the same services. (not that bothered about Apple Arcade)

Thanks!

The offer is only if you haven't already had an Apple TV+ offer. So you (like me) don't qualify. Here is what you get if you try and activate it.

I am with Apple One since it launch. I received each month the complete refund for my Apple TV+ subscription. So, to answer to your question, I think that Apple would give a compensation for your free year (but I’m not certain because the two cases are a little bit different).

As @Julien pointed out, you’re not eligible to the free trial if you already tried it in the past. Your only option is to put a different Apple ID if you want to use the free trial

OK thanks guys I guess I won't qualify for the free year like I thought I would then. Thanks anyway!
