So I have my work address stored in my contact info, and also as a favorite in Maps. Today I had to go into the office (probably the 3rd time during the pandemic). Keep in mind that I work in a major city (Boston/Cambridge), so pre-pandemic I took the train into the office.

Well today, I clicked my go to work favorite in Maps and it routed me to a different city. Instead of going to 742 Evergreen Terrace, Cambridge MA; Maps sent me to 742 Evergreen Terrace, Needham MA. Like I stated earlier, because I normally rode the train I had no idea I was being routed to a different town, especially with traffic Maps and also Waze tend to take back roads when getting into the city.

Note: address is fake but the bug is real.

I read about that one. It’s a feature called “Discover.”

LOL, that is not as bad as my built-in Toyota GPS. I asked it to guide me to a location about 1/2 mile away within the same Texas city. It routed me through Puerto Rico! im not sure how it thought my car could drive across an ocean, but oh well. I now use a Garmin instead.
