Hello,

not sure where to look for help on this one, I wonder if anyone has a suggestion.

When trying to reach the apple forums at https://discussions.apple.com, after login with my Apple ID I get from the browser the error message "discussions.apple.com redirected you too many times".

Only suggestion I got so far, deleting all cookies on the browser, did not make any difference.

Any hints?

Seems fine. FYI, that message is when you get a recursive redirect, basically creating a loop - probably some kind of auth issue on their end, just check it again later.

I'm having the issue for more than a week since I first noticed.

The amusing things is, I can not login to https://discussions.apple.com/ in order to report the issue :)

I wonder what's the official channel to get something like this resolved... the apple "contacts" pages do not seem to cover that in an obvious way.

I saw this error message when trying to log in to another site with safari. What worked for me is using Chrome, so my recommendation is try using a different browser.

Already tried... Chrome, Safari, even Internet Explorer on a variety of devices. Also tried deleting all cookies and on an incognito/privateBrowsing session. It never works... it must be something gone ashtray with my apple ID...

Not sure what to say then, I was successful in logging in.

I am still having this problem for a couple of years now. It's incredibly frustrating. Does anyone have a solution?

No problems here.

They use two-factors identification, these days.

Then ask me if I'll trust the browser and will not be asked for the 2-factors login next time I want to log in.
I haven't had the problems you talk about earlier either.

Still buggy. Mojave, two-factor login successfully done. I think it has to do with some international accounts or something.

I thought I'd register to add to this thread - this is one of the few that come up in my google searches for the problem, and I've never found an answer. It would be great if a future Googler with an answer would stumble on this thread and provide the world with an answer.

I'm very certain that this is a problem on Apple's side related to my account. I can follow all the troubleshooting steps in the world and there's nothing on the client side that I've found that can resolve the issue. FWIW, I've recently rediscovered the issue on two separate MacBooks - one of which is a brand new laptop for work - and both have all of Safari, Firefox and Chrome installed, and the problem is consistent on both. On each laptop, I have a browser that has no customization that I use for testing, and the problem still occurs.

The frustrating thing is that I really want to get an answer to a frustrating problem with my iPhone, and the one place where I can get Apple support isn't open to me.

Tried this in two different browsers and am seeing the same thing this morning. After visiting discussions.apple.com and signing in, when you click content (or go straight to a post) the browser hangs and errors out with a "too many redirects" error.

I've tried clearing the cookies, reloading the browsers, etc. and each time it does the same thing.

Anyone else seeing this?
