Disk Burner not found.

I upgraded to 10.4.3 last week, and since then my Powerbook 15" no longer sees it's inbuilt superdrive.

Very frustrating. Are there any fixes for this I can attempt before having to schlep into the Apple Store (and no doubt lose my Powerbook for weeks in the process).

Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't have a fix for ya, sorry. But I have had a slightly similar issue w/ my PB since I upgraded to .3 See my thread below. I wonder if your issue and mine are related?

Well, try resetting PRAM/NVRAM and PMU.

Fixed!
Very strange, all I did was shut down using the power button, rather than using the menu, and it seemed to reset everything.

God knows how, but I'm not complaining, but thanks for the info guys.
