I reformate my MBP but forgot to title my hardrive with the physical amount thats on my mac . now its called untitled. Is there a way of retitling it I know I can with Macintosh HD icon but with the storage space icon i'm not sure how to.

On your desktop, where untitled is mounted, click on the name, press the Return key and name it to whatever you want.

Unfortunetly its the one that states in disk utility the ammount of storage is in my MBP I know I can change the Macbook HD icon on my desktop but its the storage space that says i have 500 Blessings that is marked untitled

If you are talking about the storage device itself then I believe that can't be changed as that name is probably stored in the firmware of the hard drive. Why do you need to change that name?

I didn't know if it could be changed or not because I wondered if it would hurt as it is.
