I've kodak fz53 camera. I tried to tranfer some pictures when I SAW THAT THE CONNECTION FAILED EVERY TIME. Can I use a mac hd or mac hd data to check the camera drivers?

I assume you are using a USB cord to connect right to the camera. I'd try to buy or borrow an SD card reader to get the photos from that.

Agree with weaztek.
Use a USB card reader to transfer photos from SD card to computer.
Works MUCH better.

Disk Utility is for hard drives (platter-based, SSDs, USB flashdrives, and you can test SD cards).
But it won't do anything for "camera drivers".

I agree with the above if your camera has an SD Card, but even if it does ... maybe the USB connector will work?

Did you try connecting the camera to your mac and open "Photos App" - or open preview app ( look for device in the import menu) - if your camera shows up (visible as a device) in these apps you should be able to transfer, copy or delete

I prefer to use Photos as it Keeps the original format and resolution and keep the Photos and home movies in one file that is easy to search and organize
