Disks not mounted

I really really don't know why I am continuousally fooled to update since EVERY Apple update is a regression of functionality.

With Sonoma, my three (3) external encrypted disks are not mounting, and nothing will make them do so.

What gives?

OK, solved it by shutting down and restarting after a few minutes.

How can this kind of bug persist thru the entire beta chain and end up in the final installer?? Apple is losing it.
