spiderman homecoming is in 4K and HDR - was the Disney issue only for existing content???

Disney doesn't have the rights to Spiderman. Which is why it took so long to get him in avengers. Sony has it. Like how fox owns xmen. Deals before Disney bought marvel.
Guardians of the galaxy 2 is Disney's first 4k release.
