Anyone notice that "Dumbo", "The Great Mouse Detective" and a few other Disney videos are available for rental now? Cool stuff.

Disney pulled all rentals

I just noticed that Disney no longer has anything available for rent on iTunes. They've pulled them all. What does it mean?

Dude, you're right.

I hope Apple's rental deals aren't falling apart.

I noticed a lot of studios are pushing the rental dates further and further out (presumably hoping more people will buy before they can rent), which I think is pretty lame because it's different than the way they deal with the "old" renters (Blockbuster, for example).

If rentals die, the reason for the Apple TV dies, as far as I'm concerned.

The Disney situation is a bit uncomfortable.

They're back again

Well now I find Dumbo and The Great Mouse Detective available for rent, along with The Little Mermaid 3. So I guess Disney does have some rentals available. Let's hope more are coming.

Even more...26 total

I just did a "Power Search" in iTunes and their are 26 Disney rentals available now. That's a good sign.
