iPhone 8/Plus Display a bit splotchy

at the very bottom of my display along the edge there are some “splotches”. They are easiest to see when that area of the screen is white or light colored. I’m wondering if this is somewhat normal for LCDs. It’s a minor flaw and most people probably wouldn’t notice it. By it’s one of those things that you can’t unsee
