Recently, my 2017 iMac restarted after suffering from a kernel panic, which has happened many times before (and which I think is related to one bit of software which I haven’t got around to identify).
However, that is potentially unrelated to something else that happened upon restarting…
When it restarted, the display glitched and showed random artefacts (see attachment) before I had to force a restart. The beachball cursor was present and spinning over the top of the glitched background. There were no apparent display problems upon restarting.
Any suggestions as to what that might have been? Thanks.
