I’m thinking this is normal with the MacBook display coating. Appears wavey when viewing panel at angle.

Is that MBP? MBA is evenly glossy at different angles and rotations.

Definitely. I have had 3 13" MBP 2020, they all had that too. But you have to look at really carefully, with the right light and angle.

You’re not looking at it right, don’t let me down now 😂
I dust my screen almost after every use to get rid of possible particles when closing the lid. So I use this camera lens blower and bright led flashlight from angle when I do that and the screen surface is completely even.
