This is most likely post over like 100 times. But my searching on here is bad and normally can't find what I'm looking for. I was thinking of getting a bigger monitor for my Mac Mini, is there a maximum size i can get or does it use anything?

Thanks,

Thank You. I'm currently on 1280x104, was wondering if i could get bigger. Thanks for the information, i shall start looking! :)

Not without some sort of video splitter - not sure if one exists for the Mini at a reasonable price.

Also, are planning to do any critical photo work? If so, you should consider an 8-bit panel display (e.g. S-IPS) instead of 6-bit TN panel display.

One exists, I've seen it around here somewhere but it isn't too cost effective. I'm at work so can't really muck around but i'm sure if you search for Mac Mini DVI splitter or mac mini dual screens you'll find something.

Good luck.

there is nothing like an ACD
then again there is nothing like the price of an ACD

I'm not planning on really doing any photo work. I was just seeing when i get my new monitor, i could always use the old one as well with dual screens and be able to have like Colloquy on one and like msn on the other etc. I look around for the Mac Mini DVI splitter thing though.

I've actually been thinking of the same. I have a 24" iMac and two Minis. I'm thinking of putting the iMac and the Mini side-by-side with 3 (3!!) Monitors (two hooked up to the mini) and wondering what kind of arduous task it might be. Let us / me know if you find one, I see you're in England so i'll be able to buy one too.

USB to DVI I

:)Cant remember where I found it and since I am not at home with my bookmarks tab I dont have the link but I found a USB adapter that can support up to 5 different monitors (up to 22" each) via DVI-I

Try a search for usb to dvi or something like that.

Also its about $130-$150 IIRC
