Hi guys,

i upgrade my macbook white for yosemite but i encounter error with the display. it zoom the active window or even the window for typing the password.

i run in safe mode and it seems ok. but with safe mode some functions are not working and it repeat asking your password even though its correct.

Resetting the NVRAM might resolve this issue. Details on how you can do this can be found here: http://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT204063

Summary:

To reset your computer's NVRAM, shut down your computer first. As soon as you press the power button, press and hold down Command + Alt + P + R.

Keep these keys held down until you hear the start up chime twice. Afterwards, let go of the keys to allow your Mac to start up normally.

Note: Resetting the NVRAM will result in your volume, screen resolution and startup disk selection settings to be reset to their default values.

thanks bbnck for the reply.

i did your instruction but it doesn't work. still have the zoom active window and once you click the icons there is the big square surrounding the icons.
