I just purchased a refurbished nMP, late 2013, 6 core with dual D700. on latest Yosemite release.

Issue: regardless of display connected, I get bad glitches, quick vertical shifts in my GUI output.

Monitors tried: NEC PA272W, Apple iMac (TDM), Eizo CG247.
Cables tried: Thunderbolt to Thunderbolt, Thunderbolt to MDP, Thunderbolt to DP.

Can't be the monitors. Running "native resolution" (2560x1440).

Bad MacPro? Bad OS?

bad graphic card surly. can you make appointment to see genius@apple if is still under warranty.

I agree sounds like a bad GPU. One wonders if this is the problem that originally got the MP returned, and they didn't catch it in testing because it's intermittent.

It should still be under warranty if you bought it directly from Apple. They provide full warranties for their refurbs.

Confirmed via apple care... faulty D700's. Getting the unit swapped out by them vs. having just the GPU's repaired.
