I have a 1st gen mini (1.42GHz G4 80GB) with the integrated Radeon 9200 chipset and 1GB of RAM. For two years I've used a 17" NEC LCD (MultiSync LCD 1700M+) running at a native resolution of 1280x1024 with absolutely no problems. Also I was running a 19" Sony LCD (SDM-HS94P) on my gaming pc, also at a native 1280x1024.

Well, I got a new monitor for my gaming PC so I moved the Sony 19" to my mac mini. Since then I've noticed that intermittently the screen goes black for 1-2 seconds at a time. This happens infrequently when doing mundane tasks like surfing the internet or reading e-mail but when I watch DVDs (which I do frequently) or try to play World of Warcraft it happens almost continuously.

Has anyone experienced this? I'm running the latest Radeon driver from the ATI website.
