I'm running Windows XP SP2 via Bootcamp on the new 20" Mac and all my software works with the exception of Final Fantasy XI. Everything works great inside the Playonline Viewer, but when I launch the game, my display suddenly rotates 90 degrees to the left so it's all sideways! I called Playonline's tech support, and naturally the only response I get is "We don't support Mac" despite the fact that it's running in Windows. They did suggest that the driver version was TOO new and that it wasn't supported, so I tried down-grading to ATI Radeon's HD 2600XT 8-21-2007 version of the driver (which they recommended), but no good. I also tried the 7-27-07 and 05-17-07 versions of the driver with the same result. Has anyone come across this problem before? And if so, how did you fix it? This is the one piece of software I really want to play and I can't...PLEASE HELP!

Next time you call tech support don't tell them you're running Windows on your Mac. ;)

Have you tried using the ATI control panel application to rotate the display back to normal?

Regards.

I thought of that, but the game runs in full-screen mode, and if you alt-tab out of it, it gives you an error that full-screen mode was lost. I'll check settings in the ATI control panel, though.
