Normally, i put my computer's display to sleep when I go to sleep - it's easier to sleep with less light in the room. To do this, i simply switch my settings to "display sleep after 1 minute."

However, this past few nights it won't sleep the display at all. It just doesn't happen. Any ideas?

repair permissions using the utility in apps/utilities?

or just close the lid when you sleep

EDIT: you didn't say it's a laptop, nevermind. but try the repair permissions and then see if it works.

it's funny that you mention repairing transmissions... i did that a couple days ago, about the time that the display became an insomniac. hmm...

fixed, sortof

i reset my computer and now the display goes to sleep, so the i guess it was just a little glitch.
