Im new to mac computers but i just got a macbook and am having a similar problem to matt1987 (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/268888/) but have tried the PRAM reset thing i have heard suggested and no such luck. the screen just suddenly went shizzle and now the only way i can make any decent sence of it is if i turn it to 256colours which isnt that great. the screen works in millions of colours when i go to sign in as admin and it works fine for about 2 seconds before it turns to ***** after logging in. any ideas or am i stuck wanting to throw this against a wall? also is there a max temp these things can operate at?
