I have a Macbook Pro, and am considering an Apple 20 inch display. It seems the resolution is the same on both my Macbook Pro and the 20 inch ACD. Is it worth the 700 bucks for the 20 inches? Is would it really be worth my while to get a 23 inch in stead? Or Should I be happy with the display on my Macbook Pro.
Computer uses:
- Photoshop
- Dreamweaver
- Final Cut (personally, not professionally)
- iLife
- Various productivity applications
- Safari, Adium, etc.

Thanks,

Personally, if I had to get an external screen I'd get the 23 inch. There's only a 3 inch difference between the 17" MBP and 20" external screen which to me wouldn't be worth the $700 or however much the 20" costs. If the 23" is too expensive, I'd just stick with the screen on the MBP.

go for the 23" and if you cannot afford that, and don't mind getting something like the dell 24" then go for the dell. Its 700 bucks right now and it gets great reviews too :D....I agree, the 20" is not worth it!
