This is odd. I've been using my new iPad Pro 11" M4 all afternoon and I was getting software-related flicker on the top email in the Mail app sidebar. So I did a hard reset and, upon rebooting, I got a "Display Not Recognized" message in the Settings app. There's a badge on the Settings icon too. Here's the message. Assume this is some kind of bug.

I exchanged the iPad at the Apple Store as it was within the 14 day purchase window. If you're having this problem, I'd take it to the Apple Store.
