Although my main computer is an intel iMac, my time is limited
on it so for basic tasks I use an iMac G4 1ghz 256 mb Flat panel running 10.3.9. It is really slow and buggy but useful. Just this afternoon, it was idling with the display of but the computer not asleep for about an hour and a half. When I came home, the display would not turn on. I restarted from the button in the back and was shocked to see that the display still wouldnt turn on. I have Restarted several times and no luck. Advice?

If it cannot be fixed without a professional repair, is it possible to wipe the disk and format it to be used as an external hard drive over it's airport card? My other computer is running 10.4.11.

Thanks! I will luckily be getting a MBP for
myself as soon as it is updated again, but that may be not until August and I really could use a comp of my own in the mean time.

try replacing battery on motherboard. that usually takes care of problem.
