hi
a couple of weeks ago I updated Sierra to the latest release, and as a result ended up having a bunch of performance and display problems. Examples: full screen playback of Youtube and other videos was affected by my mouse movement; display on my monitor was noticeably degraded (extraneous lines across text); Photos kept crashing, etc etc.

I posted this on the Apple communities website but no luck.

I finally booted to recovery mode and restored the MacMini to a date before the last update. Thankfully that worked and everything is back to working great.

I turned off automatic update, however I still get the nagging reminder to update and I keep clicking on "remind me tomorrow"

Has anyone else had similar problems?

thanks

I have.....can't be sure that it's 10.12.4 but others have had problems...Here's a sample of my graphics issues. Have had a couple of freezes too.

It must be 10.12.4 because after I went back to 10.12.3 with Time Machine (best thing the Mac has !!) everything is working fine again

Just done the same thing, really would prefer it to be 10.12.4 than a hardware fault. A diagnostics test found no faults......I will give it a couple of days of 10.12.3 and see if it happens again.
