Hi everyone, about 2 weeks ago I ordered a 16” MacBook Pro from Apple and it arrived yesterday. While I was running some quick display tests at around %40 brigthness, I noticed some black tint around the edges. I was wondering if this is normal, for me it isn’t too bad but definitely noticeable to my eyes. I would really appreciate if others could share how theirs look around half brightness 😅

A bit off topic, but seemingly how expensive and marketed. You should examine the screen with a flashlight high chance it came with small dents and scratches. Just FYI.

Are you normally looking at solid colored screens like this? The real question is if you notice it when using the Mac normally. ;)

Thank you, thankfully the screen looks cosmetically perfect to me 😅

Yeah it’s kind of noticeable but only when I’m looking at the edges on light background websites
