Hello, I have an iPad Air 3 with about a year of use and I just start noticing a white spot above the home button. Is not super visible yet and require a bright white background and to be looked in certain angle in order to see it. I still have 1 year of apple care left so I hope it is covered by it. But since is still very difficult to spot (but definitely there) should I wait to see if it becomes more visible? or based on the past experiences this is more like a non-intensifying issue? Since they are only accepting mail-in repairs in my country, my concern is that they will just send it back and saying there is no issue.

Thanks for your advice.

From reading similar threads on here, it appears to be a common issue and I think it does get worse over time.
Don't worry though - it will certainly be replaced under AppleCare, and I suspect free of charge as it's a defect, not accidential damage.

Ship it to Apple ASAP.
