Hi all,

Is there any way to display the on-screen keyboard while a physical keyboard is attached? This used to work nicely with the BT ones, just switch them off and the onscreen keyboard would appear. It's not that easy now (and not practical if one wants the iPad to remain in the stand)

Cheers

See if there is an "eject" key on your keyboard. That's what I use with my Bluetoth keyboard when I want to bring up onscreen keyboard, no need to turn it off.

There is no option with the Apple Keyboard. With the Smart Keyboard designed for the iPad Pro as well as the Logitech Create both have options to display software keyword while the physical keyboard is connected. However both cannot work at the same time. It's either one or the other.

By Apple keyboard, do you mean the Bluetooth ones? On those, you hit the eject key to make the software keyboard appear.

And how do you do this on the Smart Keyboard, as OP says there is no eject key on that?

Swipe up with two fingers from the bottom of the screen to get the on-screen keyboard to appear. I figured this one out by happy accident. It was driving me crazy that I couldn't get to the dictation button.
