Hi
I've been searching the forum and no doubt I have missed the answer, but its starting to drive me crazy.
I have a 2020 M1 Airbook.
When not travelling I want to hook it up to my CRG9 Ultrawide.
It appears the only way to do this is via USB C to Displayport.
The problem I have is finding a cable to delivers power on the USB C/Displayport cable or a hub that only takes up one of the Airbook USB C connections and also has a USB C video output on it.

I have a Satechi Hub but only one of the USB C conenctions deliver power and Video so if I want to connect any drives/devices whilst on the big screen I can't charge the airbook or close the lid.

Any suggestions? :)

Get a Thunderbolt dock which has its own power delivery and a separate DisplayPort.

You can use USB-C based hub but you will lose the usb functionality(or limit to usb 2.0 speed) due to the high bandwidth required by your monitor.

I use a Caldigit SOHO USB-C dock. You need to connect your power delivery charger to the dock but then the dock supplies power to the MBA and the MBA sends video out over a single cable and the dock has a display port output which I connect to a 4K display.
