Hi, I'm having issues with connecting a MacBook Pro to an HP Z Display Z27i (https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03969701)
The display pref pane won't show the max resolution of 2560 x 1440 @ 60 Hz.
I tried connecting through Thunderbolt (Mini DisplayPort) > DVI and through Thunderbolt (Mini DisplayPort) > HDMI, same results (more or less). I don't have a Mini DisplayPort > DisplayPort cable at hand.
I searched the HP Support site for drivers, but it says no drivers are available for my OS.
I'm running macOS 10.14.6 on a 15" MacBook Pro 2012 with Intel Graphics 4000 (1536MB vram) and NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M (1GB vram). I can connect a 27" Thunderbolt Display without any issues: displays at 2560 x 1440 with my macbook screen at 1680 x 1050 simultaneously.
Any suggestions anyone?
