That's why it's better to update in the App Store. Then if there's an issue, you can delete the app, and then sync back what you had before.

damnit, now im limited with my shazam to 5 a month!

why are developers so shady?

If you are a developer and offer an app for free, you SHOULD NOT BE ABLE to take away functionality with "free updates" that have NO disclaimer

That is such a shady practice it makes me not want to even buy your app

What are your thoughts?

Developers, why do you do this?

Also note that when an app is updated it moves the old version to your trash so you can always just restore it to itunes from there rand delete the new version
