My son had clicked my ipod touch and disruppted the syc when I was trying to install an application. iTunes then prompted me by saying it failed to install the app. Duh. However, I removed the app from itunes then redownloaded it...but, it won't even try to install on my ipod touch anymore...i tried maybe 5xs now. I even closed both itunes and ipod touch...it won't even do it....

any help?

Try from the iPod itself. If you are logged in to iTunes mobile on your iPod, you shouldn't be charged anything for the app if you already bought it (don't hold me to this though)

I had an app stuff up half way through downloading from the mobile app store. There was no way I could redownload it or delete its icon from my touch. In the end I had to do a full restore of my touch and redownload the program to rectify the problem.

Yep :(. I've had to do it twice now. I'm not overly impressed with 2.0 or the stability of the applications so far. Just doing it again after cube runner crashed my touch and left it hung on the apple boot up screen.

The only bright side is 2.0 does a backup every time you sync, which means you can restore it as you had it per last sync. It's not ideal as it's very time consuming, but gets you out of a bit of bother.

if i do a restore from a backup, even though that error occured..does it still restore it to where i can reinstall?

also, if i do a backup restore..does it restore my game records, notes, and etc? or will everything be blank...

It should. It will put your touch back to the point before you had the app stuff things up.

I can't speak for game records, but a restore will put your notes back as you had them.
