Dissable pin

Some days I need to enter the pin on the watch even though it's on my wrist. Sometimes once a day and some 4 or 5 times (ofter when it's hot). 9 of 10 days I don't but the 10th day it's very irritating so I want to turn of the pin but when I try that option is dissabled. How can I fix that?

Launch the Apple Watch app on your iPhone, select Passcode and then select Turn Passcode Off.

I think a pin is required if you have Apple Pay activated on the watch.

Correct, but I still have the option to disable Passcode - it just warns me this will disable Apple Pay on the watch. So not sure why the option is disabled on MacLilja's device.
