My system already contains the Developer certificate. For Submission of the app to the Appstore, is it possible to generate the distribution certificate with the team agent id on the same system containing the Developer certificate or do I need to have any of the following two steps:

i) Delete the Development certificate in the existing system and generate the distribution certificate then.

ii) In the Same system , Can I install the Distribution certificate with the TEAM AGENT id and Generate the Provisioning Profile.

Or any other way is possible

You can have multiple signing certificates and provisioning on a computer. I alone have 3 identities, a developer, an ad hoc and a distribution. I have numerous provisioning.

I also have a question that I believe relates to this situation. Here is my scenario:

- I have hired an off-site developer to code my desired app.

- The app is finished, but before he can load it onto iTunes, he requires a copy of the Distribution (and I THINK, additionally, the Developer Certificate, but I could be wrong on the Dev. Cert) certificate sent to him after being converted to .p12 format.

- NOW... here is the snag: On my boss' computer (mac), I am unable to export to .p12 because I only have Guest privileges (boss is out of state at moment and can't log me on as Admin).

The question: Is there a way for the developer to still upload the app to iTunes without having the certificate, or have it in .p12 format? He has already downloaded the cert from our company's account on iTunes Connect be cause we have entered his name as a developer with us, yet he doesn't have the privileges to modify it (or something) because the cert was not originally created on his computer. Is there a way around this?

Other developers have created apps for us and put them on iTunes, and I don't recall them ever needing any certs converted to .p12 and then sent to them.

Please help!

Thanks very much in advance and I apologize for my ignorance,
