I have an external hard drive with different MacOS installs that I run Diskwarrior off to repair computers that are stuck at boot up and can't get in to safe mode. I just created a Sierra partition but when I try to run Diskwarrior off it I get a message "DiskWarrior cannot be run from a disk that does not support permissions."

DiskWarrior must be run from a Macintosh disk, such as a Mac OS Extended disk. PC and many other disk formats do not support permissions.

I can get it to run fine on my 10.9 and 10.11 partitions. I checked the 10.12 partition and I have full read and write permissions enabled. I couldn't find anything online about this. Thanks for any help.

Just checked out your issue on my Sierra partition.
Initially it failed to run, but after deselecting "ignore ownership" it now runs just fine.
