Is it possible to burn Divx 6.0 AVI files to DVD with Toast 6.1.1? I've been able to have Quicktime open them, but not play any audio from them. I know they say that even Divx 5.2.1 isn't supported by Tiger, so I've been using the 3ivx codec, but that won't play audio for some reason.

Every time I go to burn these files, it gives me an error #223, which I can't seem to find on Roxio's site. I know Toast 7 has much better Divx support, but would it be able to burn these files? If not, how else can I get them onto DVD?

Also, I've tried using ffmpegX to convert the files to Mpeg2 files, but still no audio, and now Toast has been "Preparing" the files for nearly 10 hours, and it's definitely not going to be done for a few days at this rate.

Whoops, my mistake. As Mpeg2 files, Quicktime won't play them at all, and Toast won't let me edit the little button picture, but it does put one up. Just to clarify.

Alright, thanks guys, I guess I'll have to get Toast 7 if I wanna burn these DVD's. Dang, though, that's pricey for a program I just bought the a few months ago (6, that is).

OK, the AC3 makes some audio work, but it's all choppy and weird. Might just be the fact that I'm reading it off of a USB 1.1 drive on a 500Mhz G4. I'm sure on a G5 it'd be smooth. Thanks for the help!

A G5 won't help if you're still using USB 1.1

Also, QT 7.0.2 breaks that AC3 component. :(
