Apparently the current Divx does not support 10.4 so I was wondering if anyone on here has a solution to this. I would like to view .avi files.

I don't think i've viewed a DivX since I got 10.4, but have you tried using mplayer?

The DivX codec works fine with QuickTime in Tiger, it just b0rks the menu and adds an extra help.

I use VLC but i haven't had a problem watching DiVX's on Tiger. Why use quicktime? Unless you paid for it and REALLY like it :)

Why don't you guys try this

Thanks for the link Diatribe. Just one question, after I installed it there doesn't seem to be an icon for the program. Is this an add-on for quicktime? How can I uninstall it if I choose to in the future? There only seems to be a folder with two documents in it.

It is incredibly annoying to click on a direct link download without warning. In the future, link to the download page and allow the user to decide whether or not to download the file.

Yes, it is an add-on to Quicktime. Works perfectly. :)
