Divx, xvid, h264 (matrovska) with Front Row on my Mini?

I've never gotten this to work, but I see people are getting it to work with the ?TV, and as far as I can figure it should be possible with my Mini too, but I've never gotten it to work. Front Row just crashes when I try to open a divx, xvid or h264 (in a matrovska container) with it.

I had the divx and xvid official libraries installed, and then I tried removing them and installing Perian instead, but that didn't work either. So what am I missing here?

Exactly what do I have to have installed for this to work?

mkv's aren't supported in Perian yet - not 'til 1.0.
