Some time ago I had a problem with a growing collection of Apple Watch bands and created BandbreiteSE. I wanted to have something custom, something that suits the bands—and I am very satisfied with the result.

However, I would like to "challenge" me one more time. Now, the bands are "safe in place" I would like to have something custom for the (2) watches.

Watching some of the videos from the hands-on-area after the latest keynote, something catched my attention. Apple created an awesome "presentation/display board" based on the same mechanism/stand, which is used for the tables in every Apple Store.

The base shouldn't be a problem. But I am wondering how to achieve the same effect of a "hovering" watch. I checked most of the available stands on the market, but couldn't find anything similar or at least very close to. The Apple Watch doesn't need to be charged, although it would be a great achievement if its possible.

What do you things, guys? Where to start? Is there a stand which can be used for?
And no, I cant go into an Apple Store and try to grab some of the stands directly from the original table.

Any help and ideas, any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
