Has anyone attempted to upgrade the ram or CPU? You can do it with a reballing station and I am tempted to try it when my air arrives.

What kind of memory chips is the air using?

IMO it is better and vastly safer to just buy the upgrade

Because someone mentioning their use of a reballing station isn't enough indication that safety/ease is not the point......

It sounds like an easy way to void your warranty and will produce marginal at best savings

It sounds badass is what it sounds like.

If you know what you're doing, go for it. I assume if you know how to use a reballing station, you should be pretty good?

Would be pretty sweet to get it up to 8GB + 1TB SSD. Though I doubt cheap by any means.

However, I doubt the CPU would be able to be upgraded easily. I mean, the potential upgrade for that slot seems like it wouldn't be worth the cost, effort, and extra heat.
